As our (my boyfriend and I) next big trip is coming up in just 16 days, I decided to make a simple post with some of our photos from Greece last summer. We went to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. The trip was so breathtaking, I hope you guys enjoy these photos! Feel free to ask me for any trip advice 🙂

ATHENS, GREECE

We spend only 48 hours in Athens, and honestly, it was the perfect amount of time for us! We got up in the morning, left the hotel, and used the buss’ and trains to get to where ever we wanted to go. On the way back at night we did get exhausted and used taxi’s sometimes.

MYKONOS ISLAND, GREECE

We seriously had so much fun on this Island guys! We rented an ATV once we arrived from Athens, best decision ever! Not only is it so much fun to ride it but everyone else is too and you keep beeping at random people, laughing, talking, and feeling so free-spirited! Everything is also super close in Mykonos, it is a small Island.

Beach time! There is a long trail you can walk through and get from beach to beach, we walked along the entire thing and then went back to the beach we wanted to stay in.
Brian decided to try out fly boarding for the first time! He had a blast! The view from our hotel was breath-taking. One day we had dinner in Little Venice, right on the water.

The windmills in Mykonos is also a sight to see!

FERRY BOAT RIDE TO THE NEXT ISLAND!

I definitely suggest hopping around from Island to Island in these ferry boats! it was my first time on one and I felt like a little kid with excitement. The boat was huge! There were even cars coming out of it before we got on! There is everything you need on board, bathrooms, shopping, TV, air-conditioning, food, and the best views!

SANTORINI ISLAND, GREECE

In Santorini, you want to rent a car because it is a big Island. It’s better to rent a car rather than a little scooter or ATV here because since everything is farther out, you’ll want to bring more of your valuables with you and leave them in the car not carry it around! It’s also extremely windy for long drives on an ATV. The first place we went to was Old Thira. This place is the highest point in Santorini, and SO WINDY! The drive up was a bit scary because it was so loopy on such high grounds. The drive down was even scarier! But so worth the view at the top! Later that same day we went to Fira for dinner, my FAVORITE in Santorini, so romantic. Do not be hesitant to go to nice restaurants in Greece, you’d be surprised at how affordable it is! And again, look at this view! Simply magical (I cried at the sunset like a weirdo, but I couldn’t help myself! Everyone was standing at the edges of the white houses, watching the sunset, and at the end when the sun disappeared, everyone clapped! it was so beautiful and the tears just dropped).
Before we sat down for that dinner, we decided to get some drinks at another location which was also, magical, just take a look: The next day we wanted to go back to Fira! There was so much shopping to do there! We ended up buying some matching shirts that they made for us there. We chose the print we wanted and they used this cool machines to print the images onto our shirts, you’ll see a photo down below! A little rooftop dinner can never go wrong in Oia, Santorini! Before we flew to Greece, I made sure to do some Pinterest digging and found out that there is a place to cliff jump! I HAD to make sure we made it there, here is our drive up to Ammoudi Bay in Oia Santorini. We do not have a photo of the cliff jumping but we did catch it on video! You’ll see at the end of this post 🙂 Post jump selfie :p Greece is simply amazing! I seriously fell in love with everything in it, if you are debating where to go next, go there!
